Seeking a guideline judgment on suspended sentences

Published in June 2006, this report explored whether a guideline judgment could clarify the correct approach that a Court should take when deciding to suspend a sentence. The Report also explored the likelihood of the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal issuing a guideline judgment for suspended sentences on an application by the Attorney General.
