Firearms, knives and other weapons offences
We are reviewing sentencing for firearms, knives and other weapons offences.
We released a consultation paper (PDF, 1.4 MB) and an issues paper as part of this review. The consultation paper focused on weapon-related offending by adults. The issues paper focused on young offenders and weapon-related crime.
Submissions closed on 4 December 2023. Thank you to everyone who made a submission.
